Course Etiquette
Golf is most enjoyable when you feel no pressure to speed up or slow down. The recommended time to complete eighteen (18) holes on any of our rotations is under 4 hours including the time you take at the turn. When the hole is open in front of you and the group behind you is playing faster than you, please allow them to play through so that all players can have a great experience. The Golf Professional staff, our starters and player assistants will monitor pace of play and encourage this simple etiquette.
Mobile Devices
Mobile phones are permitted. Ringers should be set on silent or vibrate only, and all calls must be taken away from others and at a volume that does not disrupt the environment or others.
Speakers and other listening devices are permitted and played at reasonable volume as as to not disrupt the environment and/or fellow golfers.
Social Media
No pictures or videos of Desert Princess’s guests, club members, or employees may be used at any time for commercial purposes, public websites, or social media without the written consent of the General Manager.
Service Animals
In accordance with the California Food Code and the Riverside County Department of Environmental Health, dogs are prohibited inside restaurants. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) however, only service animals are allowed in the Mountain View Grille. The prerequisite for a service dog is that the animal be specifically trained to perform tasks directly related to the person’s disability. It is noted that service dogs are not required to wear a special harness or identification tag that identifies them as a service animal. Service animals are the responsibility of the guest when they enter the restaurant. At the table, the service animal is required to sit underneath the table or next to the patron, but out of the aisles to avoid a safety issue. Service animals are not to sit in chairs or be fed food at the table.
An emotional support, therapy, comfort or companion animal is NOT considered a trained service animal under the ADA. It is against the law in California to fraudulently pass a pet as a service dog. Under the Penal Code, it is a misdemeanor punishable to up to 6 months in jail and/or up to a $1,000 fine.
Pet dogs that are not trained service animals are permitted in the outdoor patio dining area of the Mountain View Grille only. Pets must be leashed and under the control of the owner at all times and are not allowed on chairs or tables on the patio.
In any case where a dog’s behavior is making it impossible for other guests to enjoy their experience in the restaurant, the dog’s owner will be asked to remove the animal from the premises.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation and for making the Mountain View Grille experience enjoyable for all.
